Could you let delegator select timeframe in which your service would make a call to return the delegation?

    No. (Un-)delegation requires your active key, you have to do that manually. Please check if the new user made some SP herself before you take it back.
    Also, you will need @jesta's Vessel (linked in the op), as steeminvite forgets about created accounts immediately.
