I've made myself some wearable Steemit one inch buttons/badges and I give them out free to spread the word

I've made some Steemit one inch buttons/badges. I'm not selling them or anything, but rather handing them out if people ask about them when I wear them on my hat, or jacket, or bag... this is true grassroots. I'm a product of the 90's where we printed out zines, buttons, had vinyl music releases, and the price of things were super low for all to be able to get. I'm doing this to promote cryptocurrencies, and really awesome new positive social media/blog sites like Steemit.

I've done this with bitcoin and blockchain buttons in the past and it's always a hit. I'm a bit of a crypto-junkie (which is why I run DailyBitcoin.News) so I love talking to people randomly about great endeavors like Steemit has become. I KNOW and feel that the world is going to be so much better under such decentralized things, like Steemit - so I'm out on the streets telling people about it.

I have my own one inch button press, so I can make them as I want, and I made a batch just for this.

What I do is I'll wear a button, and usually someone will strike up a conversation wondering what it is... or even better I run into fellow others who already know.

Regardless, when real life conversation comes up I reach in my pocket and pull out the hand full I carry around and ask if they want one. I just give them out.

This is a new experiment I'm trying out, but in the past I've seen it work. I think as Steemit builds things will grow and become great. It already is...

I also like to just leave them around randomly - for instance I'll go to a coffee shop and when dropping in some change for a tip I'll include a button or two. I know someone who picks it up will be curious and when they look things up they'll find out what's happening.
