I FINALLY FEEL DECENTRALIZED

One of the main words used in combination with block chain technology is that it is decentralized. It is a very powerful word that might be music to the ears of many people, but simultaneously it raises the hair on the backs of the governments around the world.



The beauty of the block chain distributed ledger is that it allows people to transact a hundred percent without the intervention of a third party such as a central bank or federal reserve, this is so revolutionary that the thought of it makes me feel such great hope and optimism for the future. This is putting power into the hands of the people instead of the hand holding the biggest stick!



I believe cutting out the intervention of a third party will allow money to flow more transparently, without disappearing into the pockets of the greedy. They say money is hard to earn, perhaps blockchain will solve this by allowing the money to be distributed in a more normal natural way.



They say that the 1 percent of the richest holds more money than the remaining 99 percent of world. This is very worrisome especially as we have people starving in many parts of the world. I am not advocating making a communist society where everything is completely equal, but I think everyone should have enough money to keep their stomachs full. Perhaps the crypto currency will allow for people to get out from under the debt burden of the banks and create a debtfree life where you don’t owe anyone anything – isn’t that ultimate freedom, that is what I am striving for and hope to obtain with the help of crypto currency!



This is where steemit comes in, for me it is an awesome example of what the decentralized blockchain can offer.
You can be living in any part of the world, but as long as you have a mobile and internet connection you can start making an income on steemit. That is extremely powerful. You do not need to go through any people for a job interview, you don’t have to register in the government system, all you have to do is create a steemit account. Even a relatively small income on steemit can make a huge difference for many people! For me I am not planning to take out any steem for a long time, but building the steem power feels like saving money in the bank, except that it is a hundred times better. No negative interest rate, no risk of frozen accounts when the economy collapses.



Another great part that I really love about steemit and the fact that it is decentralized is that I feel comfortable writing on this platform when I am in China. As a matter of fact facebook Is blocked here, and steemit is not, so that is awesome to begin with! I never liked facebook, honestly, it just feels its more about bragging and less about sharing. On Steemit I feel value being transacted that in the end is the core and strength of steemit. Also the fact that the information is not collected and analyzed also feels very good, plus you are allowed to speak your mind here. You can tell that freedom of speech is changing very quickly these days, due to the pressure of governments, the information you get on facebook or youtube is definitely becoming more and more filtered till in the end the only thing that will remain is what the government want you too see and hear.



I never was very good at describing things with words, thus it is very hard for me to explain how grateful I am for having found steemit. I honestly find myself being genuinely happy these days, even smiling when I think of steemit and how awesome it is. For me it’s a window that when I open I feel the winds of freedom and the power of decentralization, as I am able to share and learn with this great community. So thank you Steemit I finally feel decentralized!
