We are the generation born between 1970 and 1987. I am proud to be born in these dates because what I have lived, very few have enjoyed.
We are the generation that learned to use, for the first time a personal computer and videogames, and most importantly, we did not see as morons those people who did not know how to use it. At recess, we would play the jump rope, stone, paper or scissors, to see who started throwing the metras, the hidden one. We are the first generation that used the ataris, with the controls that only had a stick and a button, that made you more nervous than those monstrous controls that exist today, at least to me, hahaha. We saw for the first time Chayanne acting in the telenovela "Pobre Juventud", who did not fall in love with him at that time ?. We also saw shows like "Saved by the Bell," "Beverly Hills 90210," "Falcon Crest." We're the only generation that used LP's, Betamax, VHS, cassettes (we even recorded live from the radio and we could not talk because It was also recorded hahaha.) But we were pioneers in using the CDs, we had to ask if you could record them or not, the pendrives, the 3/4 discs.
On television we learned about the fall of the twin towers and the Berlin Wall, with the twin towers I was amazed at the power of destruction of the human being; series like Candy Candy, Gi Joe, The Justice League, The Galactic Hawks, Heidy, The Pandillita, The Thundercats, Transformers, Don Gato and his Gang, Mazinger Z, Marco, etc.
Our parents only had to take a look, to tell us not to get into the conversations of adults, or that we had done something wrong, and when that happened we would run out and put on 2 jeans, so that it would not hurt so much hahahahaha . The chops (exams help) under the skirts, inside the eraser or in the calculator box.
But we are also the generation of "Good morning", "Good night", "Good afternoon", of "You" to an adult out of respect and not obligation, of the help to a partner, of the groups in which if any he did not have money for breakfast or lunch, we all gave him money to eat.
I only remember it and the tears fall from my eyes. How I wish I could go back to those times.
Whether or not you are from this generation, I await your comments, as I will publish other experiences that I passed as part of this generation.
Greetings.
If you are part, please place only the year you were born and your comment.
