Full steem ahead.

After powering down getting rid of most of my steem power. It feels good to finally go the other way. I have never bought into steem but I wish I would have when I first started. Knowing me I wouldn't have though. I've been kind of telling people how ive been making money and most were just like oh yeah real cool. crazy guy with the digital "coins" It wasn't until I pulled out some greenbacks and people were wondering what was going on. I'm not even a fan of the dollar just a lot of people are. I feel cryptocurrencies will have its place in the future. They are my "play money" and are a lot of fun to speculate on and somewhat "gamble" with. I have yet to lose everything far from it actually. I haven't lost at all come to think of it at least broke even and if I wouldn't have been impulsive still would have made a "profit" The main thing I can use steem for is to lock up my funds. Like I said I am very impulsive. I know myself there is no fixing that. I have to just make it harder to spend. My parents used to say don't let that money burn a whole in your pocket. Well it did. over and over again. It wasn't until my early twenties I learned how important it is to save. Some of my friends do that but most still party it up and live the nightlife. Which in moderation is cool but I am not trying to go broke to have a good time. I'll do that when I am an older man. lol

Heres a subliminal message I posted on facebook also. lol

Not really actually I had to pull my funds out to have a little extra for my tooth that needs worked on I didn't even have enough saved to pay off the operations without insurance. I just recently got out of debt too. All I can say is comment on things that you like and interest you. Ask people questions, and engage.

Great advise because that is what I am doing.

Thanks for sharing. Pl. can you tell a dummy how to change steempower to cash.

I believe most people use coinbase.com link their bank account with it transfer the steem to btc using something like http://blocktrades.us and sell the bitcoin for usd and have it sent to their bank account. there are other ways but that is how I would do it.

And actually steempower has to be powered down to steem to be able to sell it. you cant sell straight steempower.

Thanks @danielownsall, that was helpful. Have a nice day.

coinbase is actually down right now when it goes back on and you decide you want to use it I would hurry up and sell to my bank account asap and wouldn't leave my bitcoin on there. word of advice.
