Hello Steemit! My last post was 4 days ago and I have a good excuse! I've been busy working on a new game. I've made some great progress on it, and I hope to have some new things for you soon! Today I was driving all over the place and that's usually what my weekends are like.

This week I tried to keep to a schedule and go to bed early, a routine which is essential for my good health. If you don't have your health, you don't have anything. And I need to take care of my health! I need regular meals, daily exercise, an early start and also-- good sleep!

Working gets in the way of that often, and when it does, I get a 'hangover' migraine. Sometimes it lasts for a day, sometimes a week. There are days I cannot do anything at all, and I have to press gently onto my eyes with my fingers or knuckles as I lay down.

Between showers and trying to fall asleep, there is little relief. I have what is called 'Hypertension' and it is something I learn to deal with. I try to cope as best I can, but the best is to prevent them whenever possible. Staying hydrated is part of it, but also- not eating after 11pm, not NOT eating all day, staying calm and relaxed. Peace of mind, body, and spirit.

Taking time to sit and Steemit is also very worthwhile to me. In a world of social media, steemit is a kickback to the good ol days of writing a web page and putting it out there for the world to discover. I hope you enjoyed this late night cup of steem. It is almost 1am and I should be getting to that sleep thing.
