This is one of the coolest projects I've worked on since joining Steemit a couple of months ago. Working in partnership with @meno and an animator I've worked with on The David Pakman Show projects for several years, we are almost done with an animated Steemit promo that will be posted to my YouTube channel, which has over 420,000 subscribers.
Here is a screenshot from the animation, and as another preview, @aggroed has a cameo as a voice actor in this promo.

I still see the greatest value in STEEM as an open innovation and co-creation platform more so than a "social media". Being able to reward designers, translators, even developers, from anywhere in the world as quickly and effortlessly as the blockchain enables is truly revolutionary. Add to that the ability of creators to come together to build things jointly and you'll see that we're on to something great :)
