Very exciting news, and also a question for the Steemit community in this post.

Four days ago I posted a new initiative using the tag "steemitcreators" wherein I'd be recruiting some quality creators to the Steemit platform, in order to continue growing the community, in this post: https://steemit.com/steem/@davidpakman/i-m-bringing-some-major-creators-to-steemit

Today I'm excited to announce that I will soon be announcing the successful recruitment of three more quality creators, all from different areas. One is within video gaming, another from the music world, and the third from the world of cooking and photography.
Specific welcoming announcements will come over the next 7-14 days and I think all three will add significantly to the Steemit community.
Lastly, my question to you: In hosting a national TV and radio talk show for many years now, my network of creative people in different fields has grown, and I'd like to hear from the community about types of content that you feel would be particularly enriching to Steemit, particularly ones that you feel are currently missing, so that I can examine my network and see who I might be able to recruit. Please leave your thoughts in a reply!

You mention types of content that would be enriching to steemit. I would like to see steemit cater for everyone. At the moment there is a lot about crypto and blockchain, which does not appeal to the masses (yet)
What type of content brings users to any platform? if you ask me, a wider variety of main streem content is needed, but we also need curators too, if we only have creators and no curators Steemit does not work

Having started out on Steemit back on August 1st 2016, I've been working hard to get others on this platform and have recruited a lot of big names including Max Keiser of Russia Today. Have been in talks with Ron Paul recently as well.
It's great to see other people heavy lifting and bringing more people to this incredible platform still in its infancy. The future potential for Steemit is truly incredible. ;) Good work!

I actually think what's missing are celebrities that people would follow on twitter. Think about really any celeb who has a twitter/facebook presence. Some people who come to mind are musicians, actors/actresses, and athletes.
Not exactly content creators in the same sense as the david pakman show, but more people who would have one-liners or thoughts that people are receptive to.

Yep totally right. I'm wondering how we can start a shift given that the social medias are pretty much solidified. Twitter, facebook instagram - they aren't going anywhere. There's no incentive for celebs to add a 4th of steem AND the small money incentive isn't much for rich celebs (actors, football players, politicians, etc.)

If you don't follow those steps you probably lose your money. Furthermore you will have a very stressful life, no sleep and end up hate yourself for your mistakes.
And learn this lesson: you can't control the situation. You can't change a 30% bitcoin gain or decrease. You can't forsee what happens. And you can't fucking beat the market.

Thank you for promoting, I am excited for your friends to arrive. We have a wide range of interest already present on the platform. The strongest being on programing/crypto, travel, and food. There have been many homesteaders that come from YouTube and are posting on Steemit. Some are still posting but some are not, I think the reason is the reward was not worth the work in their opinion. What they do not realize it takes time to make the platform work for them and build their blog up just like you have to with YouTube or any other platform. They are some that put out really good content and somehow we need to try and figure out how to get the ones that have left back .

Yes, Steemit is not a sprint it is a marathon. It takes time to build your blog with followers that post and respond to you. Learning the small things that makes this platform successful for you. I have been here seven months and I still have lots to learn but I learn something new every day. The most important thing is to put out as good of content as you can and respond to others and build relationships. Build as much SP as you can and love being on Steemit.

Hey thanks for your consideration I just followed you. I'm pretty new to steemit I invest in cryptocurrency. The more I learn the deeper the rabbit hole goes. I've been learning more about the block chain lately and it's just amazing technology. There's different layers and they build new idea on those platforms all the time it's like the beginning of a whole new world far has technology goes and I'm sure a lot of people here have touched on it at one time or another. But it's truely fascinating and probably boring to some people but to really understand cryptos and even steemit and where it comes from and where it's going I believe you have to understand where it all starts. So I'd like to see some stuff kinda breaking it down and making it more simple to understand if that's possible lol but just people that can explain how some of that works. How they build programs on top of it. the science and math and cryptography of it all. What it's is some of these new companies and projects actually do. How the coins are relevant and how what these companies are doing threw there individual projects to make their goals happen. Hope I didn't get to specific there I'm not to demanding. There is definitely a need for a sort of "Crypto" for Dummies content. I'm not a technophobe by any means, I've got an (incredibly useless LOL) degree in IT and I am struggling to take it all in.

I love the emphasis on quality here. It's one of the first things that made me want to really invest in the platform, even before I understood the capacities of cryptos, etc.
I'm a singer-songwriter and poet/writer, and really exhausted with how little people appreciate and pay attention to quality. Here, I find people are much more responsive in a meaningful way, and I feel so encouraged as an artist here - especially as it gives me a concrete means to keep doing my craft in a really hopeful and beautiful way!

Especially gaming could be huge with the new video and streaming sites. As could , with some time, live shows.
For specific creators though, I'd suggest Chris Dunn, a Multi-entrepreneur, Trader and Crypto investor. He does live streams from time to time and he's already very open to new blockchain projects. His format would fit well to try out with D.Tube and perhaps even DLive once we get more members here.
Also, one of your previous interview subjects Dave Rubin, the Left-/Center libertarian and Minarchist Show Host. He has a very uncommon show format for todays media, in that he lets his guests actually sit down for a talk and tries himself try to learn from and connect with them rather than constantly confronting just to create on-air drama. I bet he'd be open to it, although perhaps sceptical at first.

That is a good initiative for creators! For me my interest have always lie in the music but it varies every time. My suggestion might be to see content created on the blockchain sharing information like a radio station and discogs? A place for people to sell their record collections via steemit and also maybe have a live radio station here on Steemit that helps pick out different DJs and producers to do live mixes for a station under steemit. So something like how NTS.LIVE does their shows but here on Steemit n archived in a much better way? I think there are a few initiatives already in place but nothing solid n customised. I am still learning alot from the steemit platform so looking forward to hear from you :)

I would say anyone whose fan base is cult like would be great, irregardless of their size. If the fans have coined a termed for themselves, bring them over.

David, glad to see you bringing over more people and I think it is indicative to the progressive nature of your talk show that you would expand into the crypto realm much earlier then many other established creators, which I am glad to see.
As for content that is underrepresented on this platform, I would say video games, and dedicated news channels blogs/channels/pages? Leaning a little less on political commentary/analysis and more to trying to cover the many news events each day in a broader stroke. There are many accounts that post news and talk briefly about an event, but I have yet to come across one fully dedicated to the endeavor
