Steem is going to get knocked off, stinc has virtually guaranteed that it will happen.
It may be their plan, cash out, crash the platform, avoid jail for all the lies.
Clearly they do not want to expedite steem's success by doing what is needed to make the game attractive to anybody but the earliest investors.
I'd watch for insiders cashing out, not that them leaving would necessarily crash the platform.
I think ned gave most of that steem to dtube, dlive and other initiatives of devs.
wait so steem is a corporation? I thought it was DAC like BTS
I have had a lot of questions about idk, how large the blockchain is and how it handles all the images and spam, like how many TB of drives do you need to be a witness and run a rig.
Do you think there will be another steemit based on eos or something? Do you think steemit is unstable or a runaway train of sorts?
They try to make it seem like a dac, but only stinc can change the code.
The code doesn't get changed unless the changes are approved by stinc.
I'd guess that as quick as a knock off functions we will start hearing about it, but the requirements to run the code are very fast memory and servers not commonly available.
You should look in the steemdev hashtag.
Maybe the GitHub, if you got skillz. @timcliff is the tech guy.
stinc is Steemit inc
et al is everybody that agrees with them.
Ned is just a puppet of his controllers.

I have a lot to learn here, taking note though.

i learned some stuff here, thanks for this dialogue.
i am curious still why @ned powered down 70mil SP last month, could that mean he's doing something like that?
do you think they are going to make an EOS based steem or are other blockchains trying to do what steem's doing?
