After 24 hours of joining steemit. This is what I know and what I need to do
- Post or blog about something people are interested in or comment on other's post. Even a upvote can give steem dollars.
- After I get my steem dollars I have a choice to make of either turn my steem dollars into cash OR turn steem dollars into steem to power up my steem powers so that I have more influence in other steemer's blog or post.
- Sometimes giving a comment makes more steem power than the person making the blog or post.
- You cannot cash out steem power at once. You can only do it for a period of 2 years so think twice before changing your steem into steem power.
- Steem will be bigger than Bitcoin!!!

I definitely agree that steem will be bigger than bitcoin... and FAST. It is a way to spread useful content using a monetary backing system. This could be the next CNN... powered by the PEOPLE instead of big media!!!

I really feel like CNN has more structure, moderating of content, and organization on a whole. This is almost the opposite in that sense, yes quick user reported news, ofter people are reading articles from places like CNN.com and just talking about it here to make money on the topic for themselves. Not really the same thing, but in vauge, distant, indirect sorts of ways yes. Just my point of view though.
