500 followers! How Have I Helped? (10sbd giveaway)

in steemit •  7 years ago

It's been nearly five months since I joined Steemit at the urging of the great and good @techslut, and it has become a large part of my life. I've become enmeshed in some of the discord communities that live alongside the Steem blockchain, and I have written at least one post a day on nearly every day.

I'd like to think I'm being helpful in my writing, but I want to know from y'all, my followers and occasional readers. So I'm just gonna ask. In the comments to this post, please write how my writing has been helpful or useful to you. It doesn't have to be anything profound. Entertainment can be helpful, as can information.

As this is about me and my work, I won't be judging the comments, apart from a basic standard of being genuine and relevant. So this isn't a contest, it's a giveaway.

In one week, I randomly select a genuine comment (sorry, spammers) from someone who follows me and send the commenter 10SBD. I really hope people choose to participate in this, as I am always striving to improve and want to make my blog here the best it can be. Knowing what people found helpful can be a great help in doing that.

I thank you for following me, whether you've been here a while, or just joined to submit a comment. I appreciate you.

I would start by saying that this is the main reason i mentioned you in my "appreciation post" that i believe you have missed reading :) But, as i mentioned in that post that you are one of those steemians, who actually care about the people here and is interested in communication. As a new steemian i happened to read your blogs and of course engage in conversations and got to know that you are a multidimensional personality, you write about various stuff including art, entertainment, cooking (which was the first post i commented i guess), comics, books, personal life and so on. Upon joining steemit i thought i would only write fiction but i got inspired and now i feel like i should write about various aspects and thats how you motivated me. Simple, to the point, elegant writing. Congratulations for your 500 followers and if you get some time please do check that post of mine :)

Hi there @didic. Two things jump out in my mind when I think about my appreciation of your writing. First, I admire the way you post high quality content so consistently. You clearly have a plan and follow through with it, and that provides a really solid demonstration to countless others. I like how you break from the common opinion that writers should stick to a niche. You battle that by sticking to your “days,” which I believe is a very effective way to keep yourself motivated by being free to write about several topics.
The second thing, and more important to me personally, is how you consistently stand up for feminism, and more specifically, men who support feminism and identify as feminists. Congrats on the 500 followers. You have earned them!

אתה משקיע בפוסטים שלך אבל אתה לא מרבה לבקר אצל אחרים. אצלי לפחות לא ביקרת בכלל למיטב זכרוני. אז השני סטושי שלי אליך, תעקוב חזרה

Hi Didi, first let me say well done for reaching 500 follower’s. I too have just reached that mile stone this week. I wanted to do a giveaway myself but didn’t have the funds to cover it. I will do one soon though as I think it’s the right way to thank your followers.
I have been following you a while now due to your Wrestling Thursday’s post.
My son really love’s wrestling and enjoy’s reading your blog.
If you have been following me you will see that we have just been to see wwe live in Newcastle UK. You can see the blog here
And the vlog here

Congratulations @didic on reaching 502 followers in only 141 days!

I wish you continued success!

I have followed and upvoted you.

I haven't seen many wrestling fans over here in Steemit, so I appreciate the commentary and opportunity to discuss professional wrestling over here.

I just followed you and read your post. I see you have good intentions to help others develop their steemit accounts. right now I am trying hard to develop my steemit account by continuing to post helpful things and make friends with great people here including you one of them, if possible you can help me. then I just forget about your merit. and someday I will also do the same to the developing beginner. thanks. best regards from me steemian from aceh
