This is my dad
My dad, brother and I attended the annual bike meet in Toronto a few weeks back and man what a riot!
I won't post too much as I don't have much photo cred with the pics I have of the show, but the 3 of us boys had a stellar time with pics to prove :D
My dad is almost 70 now and loves to work on old vintage bikes. These sort of events make are what makes my pops internal ignition fire, and having the opportunity to go to these shows with both his sons, must only make his world!!
He teared up with these pics holding his winning plaques, but don't tell him I ever said that ;)
He has a 1954 Royal Enfield (left bike), and a 1956 BSA Bantom (right bike) one of which he placed second, and one third place in his class.
This is my little broski. He's basically my best bud, we always have been, even through the teenage years, eh bro?! Much love from the better looking son haha :p
The most impressive part is dad literally built these two bikes from 4 or 5 old milk crates, with 2 bikes in them, complete and all there, just in a million pieces.
Here's a link to the video of when we had the Royal Enfields motor on the bench and fired up for the first time since being rebuild. The happiness my dad had, I could see in his eyes, was enough to make his oldest boy very proud :D
