HOW to SURVIVE and THRIVE on STEEMIT

I am going to be blunt, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to be successful in Steemit in a short period of time. There are only THREE reasons that someone new on Steemit can be popular in short amount of time:

1. He is already a celebrity that migrated to STEEMIT
2. Or he has friends that is a Whale on Steemit that upvoted his posts every day
3. He invested A LOT of money to buy STEEM POWER when he opened an account

Or a combination of all above :D

Sorry to say, but for minnows like us if we don´t have that kind of juice you will get paid less! Trust me, in the beginning I dilligently wrote everyday one post and also idealistic but in the end we are here for the MONEY!

Then how can we SURVIVE and THRIVE? 

That was my question too after tired being paid 1-2 cents for my posts but then I found my own strategy that could work for you too!

BIDBOTS

I know some feel it is not ethical to use Bidbots and that dillutes the quality content of Steemit. But for me, it is a great tool to promote your posts! and hey, everyone does it and it is a good bussiness for both sides! The one who own bots get some SBD or STEEM and for user like me got lots of benefits such as:

• If you choose the right bots, you will get 2x of your bid for each posts (sometimes more)
• your posts got promoted fast because honestly people will not read your posts when the browse STEEMIT, they will upvote posts that have high pending payouts and lots of upvotes!
• If you set your payout to Default (50%-50%), you will increase your STEEM POWER too when you got paid. In time, you can become a WHALE

Of course for rule of thumb, only use bots for posts that you think are good and useful for Steemians (like this one?):D

But what if you don´t have SBD to promote your posts? Then you must be patience and join Steem Follower. There you can upvote, write comments to other posts to collect points and those points after it reaches minimum of 10.000 you can sell it for SBD.

BUY STEEM and STEEM POWER and SBD

If you have some disposible income every month, invest like 50-200 USD to buy STEEM POWER. If you do it consistently, you will increase your payout since you have larger STEEM POWER. I know some people in STEEMIT that put 25.000 USD when he first opened his STEEMIT account and then when he posted an article, he got paid a minimum of 200 Dollars...so yeah, invest in STEEM POWER!
