AMALA AND EWEDU
One popular dish famous with the yoruba speaking regions of Nigeria although it has been incorporated all over the country....amala is actually made from yam which has been peeled, washed,dried and blended into flour...when its prepared with hot water puts up a brownish colour.. I bet no one can reject that if you are a Nigerian..
ROASTED MAIZE..
Popularly called CORN mostly eaten in the northern part of the country and the middle belt ..but this meal highly regarded as a road side meal because it is mostly sold by road side vendors as such has been accepted all over Nigeria...e the sweet sha..
SUYA..
This is most times made from beef ...thin layers of the beef are actually roasted when all manner of spices have been used on such meat then springled with vegetable oil...usually sold by the road side too mostly at night ..can be eaten with a chilled drink at your own comfort...can also be used as an appetitizer before another meal..
ROASTED YAM AND SAUCE
Yam has always been a meal for all Nigerians not minding how its made...but roasted yam gives an unusual interest to everybody...just get that yam roasted and see how sweet it taste..

This is so yummy that i cant go a day without it...roasted plantain and fish.. This is just one recipe you ought to taste if you find yourself in Nigeria and thank me later on..

Hmmm the northerners in Nigeria have made this recipe one to recon with...made from beef ..this slices of beef are dried until they can crack up spices are added to it and roasted again with little or no amount of vegetable oil...this can stay for as long as possible without been spoilt so long as the drying continues..then when it comes to eating it your teeth would have to do a lot of exercise but you cant just stop eating it with that pepperish aspect of it
