One of the most frustrating things about steemit right now is we can get a notification on the main site specially if you are using a phone. This is a popular missing feature here on steemit is the ability to quickly and easily find posts that mention you using the @username syntax. So I wanted to write a two simple way to show how easy to find who mention you in this platform using Mentions Steemdata and Asksteem.

Using Mentions.Steemdata.com

1. Go to https://mentions.steemdata.com

2. How did it work?

You can search for posts	How to Use
Mention	just type your `@username`
Backlink	`https://steemit.com/@user/post-id`
Contain keywords and phrases

3. Type your `@username`

After entering @username into the box, wait for the search results page to load. After the page has successfully loaded you will find a list of all posts that have mentioned your username on the steem blockchain.

That's it, easy right? how you will find all post that mention you using Mentions.Steemdata.com by @furion. But I have one more way how to find.

Using Asksteem.com

1. Go to https://www.asksteem.com

2. Type your `@username` or `"@username" NOT author:username`

Syntax	Result
`@username`	By using this syntax you will see all your post
`"@username" NOT author:username`	By using this syntax you will see who mention you

After entering "@username" NOT author:username into the box, wait for the search results page to load. After the page has successfully loaded you will find a list of all posts that have mentioned your username on the steem blockchain. This is how it look like:
