SHENANDOAH JUNCTION – Caroline Thomas, a teacher at Wildwood Middle School has created an environment for her coding/computer science classes that includes learning HTML coding not only during Computer Science Education Week, but also all year round.
This week, her students participated in the Hour of Code, a global initiative to teach students about program development and provides hands-on opportunities to create using HTML.
Thomas said that learning coding early can be beneficial to students in the future, regardless of what their goals may be.
