Bitcoin is still trying to break the $7,500 resistance level but so far it seems resistance is strong. The gains and losses are very small, though, so it may be considered a flat day for cryptos.

STEEM And SBD

At the moment of writing, STEEM was trading, on average, at $2.00 on Coinmarketcap, down from yesterday.

On Bittrex, the 30 minutes chart shows sideways trading, in the 36k-28k satoshis corridor:

The 1 hour chart shows clearly the yesterday's spike, with the correction flattening around 26.5k satoshis:

SBD was trading, at the moment of writing, at $2.48 on average, down from yesterday.

The 30 minutes chart on Bittrex shows the same sideways trading as in STEEM, only the corridor is a big wider, from 31k to 34k satoshis:

Overall opinion: Markets are showing signs of caution today, after yesterday's rally. STEEM and SBD are stabilizing, locking in yesterday's gains.

Wanna know when you're getting paid?

I know the feeling. That's why I created steem.supply, an easy to use and accurate tool for calculating your Steemit rewards

It's free to use, but if you think this is a useful addition, I'd appreciate your witness vote.

Thank you!

I bought my first few Steem during this fall of price. Quite happy with my decision.

Good to see Steem recover a bit. The markets seem less hyped up lately and that may be good for coins with real utility.

Thanks for all these updates you share with us, however i remembered a one time conversation we had about the recently adjusted reward system when sbd was trading below 2, i noticed that now, sbd is trading above 2, but rewards still come in steem, sp, and sbd...please whats your opinion?

it's not the price of SBD in fiat that determines the payout ratio, it's the internal price feed bias (set by witnesses). If this feed bias is below a certain threshold, then STEEM is starting to get printed for the rewards pool as well, making its place in the post payouts. If all witnesses will have a neutral price feed bias (0%), then rewards will come in: 25% SBD, 25% STEEM and 50% STEEM Power. If the feed bias will be negative, then the payout percentage in STEEM will increase and the SBD will decrease. So it's an internal feature of the STEEM blockchain.

Awesome, thanks for this light, makes full sense

That is a good explanation, and this is a thing that I appreciate very much at you, the fact that you know very well how Steem economy is working! I guess that you should make some courses on it :)

Will think about it, thanks :)

Looks like we might be able to keep a some of the gains thanks to the Korean pump! Looking forward to the release of hivemind to see how the market reacts then!

Wow that's a Really amazing post dear, Well done job by you, i read it and enjoy it, and i visit your blog many times, and reading your interesting articles and comments on it, So keep it up, and im waiting for your next post, well thanks for sharing with us, Thank You.

great inform, tnx for share, keep it up

Out of the top 10 , 5 are green and 5 in red. Looks like an even chase, but these are all dropping when you look at the big picture. All the cryptos are going down and that's the truth.

Really you are giving a very good message sharing with us, thank you D:) friend @dragosroua for this post

So we are down again but down by only little much so it indicates stability.... Next few days will be quite interesting...

This news seems to be a good sign for this week. Coins are going to upgrade...thanks @dragosroua

Yeah, the market value of steem and sbd is really good news, although the whole financial system on steemit.com is completely unreliable. I cannot see only old transactions in my wallet, the same at steemd.com... What the hell is going on???

I noticed the same thing.
The most recent transactions I can see in my wallet are 8 days old... :0(

Does this mean people will start using Steemit again? I have noticed when the price dips people post less - I wonder if some will actually not come back again.

The dip isnt such a bad thing if you are on here for the long term.. it can even be a bit of an oppurtunity!

Steem and sbd going good in the downfall market looks good today
