At the moment of writing, STEEM was trading for $1.02. It's the second time during the last week when STEEM is crossing the psychological level of $1.
Actually, it was just 4 days ago when it did it for the firs time, in a rather long time.
STEEM took a dive below $1 on August 11th and it traded below that for a little over 2 weeks (between August 11 and August 29.
What's encouraging is that this increase is realized on a slightly higher volume than the last one, which may indicate a more positive sentiment in the market.
I would also want to remind you that at the end of the month HF 20 should be accepted and implemented by witnesses, and this will introduce some nice improvements to the platform, hence, even more positive sentiment.

I've heard rumours that steem might go arround 0.65 $ ...maybe another drop so who wants to invest should wait for something like that ...

Hopefully after the launch of SMT HF20, steem will rise exponentially. Although steem is low these days but the steem reward is prett high. Moreover it is the best time to grab more steem when it is liw by investing or by sharing contents

It's a nice experiment and useful if you have / intend to have a dog. In a sense, it's like STEEM for dog owners. But since I don't own a dog (yet), I will not own any DOGE as well.

I missed that dip to $0.89 whereas it was a sure thing for price to go low after hitting the new high as it happened now once again though not at the same level. Steem whales might have earned some hefty commission during this dip. I agree with you that this new pull seems more reliable than the previous one based on the volume increase.
