What Happens When You Lose Your Password on Steemit?

I was doing well, my posts were growing, I probably had a couple hundred in revenue and KABOOM!! Account gone. @drewmachakmusic handle gone. It was a huge blow to my momentum.

I kept thinking, "Why couldn't I find a screenshot, or text file, or even a single note with my master key?!?"

And actually, I did find those things...but the key WOULDN'T FREAKING WORK. F%$#. Really really sucks. And I just thought, "Well, I guess I'll just have to keep doing the YouTube thing while I know this entire new Steemit world is going on without me."

Lol.

Luckily, someone I had met on here pointed me in a new direction --------> (This way)

So I need to give a huge shoutout and THANK YOU to @surfermarly because without her I wouldn't have found the alternative route to getting another Steemit account. Might I add, this alternative route is actually a cooler way to do it because it bypasses you having to give out your personal information (ie. phone number, email)

For those of you reading this article unlogged in because your account is gone, due to (shit just happens sometimes, let's be more organized next time ;)

Oh yeah, you'll need to have some LTC or BTC but hey, it's 2017, doesn't everybody have that by now? :P

Anyway, keep this in mind for the future if something happens to your account, and if you know anyone who messed up (but creates great content and NEEDS to be a part of this community)
