Review Of Vaxxed Movie and Thoughts on the Vaccine Controversy

in steemit •  8 years ago

I went to see the underground movie "Vaxxed." This movie was so controversial that it was pulled from the Tribeca Film festival. The film addresses the questions, "Does the MMR vaccine cause autism?" and "Did the CDC change the results of the studies to cover up the real findings?" can a single mmr vaccine vaccine cause autism?
I also share my personal experiences as a doctor in dealing with patients who did not want to vaccinate their children.
Watch it here.

Thank-you for your thoughtful review of VaxXed. This movie is incredibly important to bringing awareness and more importantly, CHANGE, to the way vaccines are regulated and overseen.
The CDC has been caught in fraud on this one MMR & Autism study, and therefore all of their studies are more than questionable. Doctors will soon realize that they can't trust the one source that has provided the bulk of their information on treating children's health.

Not taking any vaccines soon :-)

I have a suggestion for you. Make a new post with your thoughts on not going to the government to solve a problem that government caused in relation to this topic of the CDC fraud/cover-up and vaccines. Then make sure to tag it properly so that all the Anarchist and Libertarian type of people will see it. You will hopefully generate a lot of discourse.
Another suggestion when you post a video that you made like this, is to pull out some of the highlights and put that in print beneath the video. I think that helps encourage people to take the time to watch it.

This is my first day on Steem and I can't figure out how to do anything on here. How do I post a video directly? What is the best tag to use so people find it. How do you make any money on this, lol. I don't understand how to do anything on here right.

It is a bit of work to figure it out. Hopefully they make that easier after it it out of the Beta stage.
You should first post an Introduction -- those tend to get votes and may get a few people following you. Tag it as "IntroduceYourself" and any other tags that might apply like "Health".
You should post a picture of yourself. You can't paste pictures directly into Steemit yet, so I have used Imgur.com to upload my pictures, and then link to the picture. (I found this info on someone's Steemit post).
Read a bit about Steemit to learn what it is about. It is not like Facebook. Don't Vote on a post unless you feel it provides something of value. Don't make comments that don't add value, for instance don't just say thanks or awesome, but elaborate. Don't use a tag that doesn't apply just to get more exposure. These thing can get you "flagged" and you lose "reputation". You start out at a rep of 25. I've gone up quickly to 55. But you could go down if anyone flags you.
"Whales" have the most Steem Power and their votes get boost you the most. Dolphins have a lot of power too. Minnows have minimal power. So you could get 20 minnow votes that hardly budges your Steem Dollars, but one Whale post could earn you over $70.
All the best!

Thanks for all the awesome advice, I will start working this up this week.

Thanks for the review-- I will check it out when I get the chance.
My son stopped talking for two weeks after receiving five vacs at one time when he was under two yrs old. Thank goodness he shows no signs of autism; but we will always wonder if it effected his mental capacities. I believe vaccines are needed in most cases (i.e. polio) but, with our second child we spaced the vacs out to lesson the stress on the body's immune system (Thanks to an understanding Ped. doc.).
When we vaccinated we were still confident our gov's actions were there to protect us....this is no longer the case on many issues. Thank you for your time and opinion-- I will check out your website!

mandated vaccination is state enforced, attempted murder. self defense is the only response.
