Sukuk means financial certificate in Arabic. Sukuk is a basically a security that is carried out in accordance with the Islamic economy. The basis of sukuk is the right to get a share from the income earned from the sale of assets. This method, which is widely used in Asia and Gulf countries, can also be called Islamic financial bonds. The purpose of Sukuk certificates is to provide users with a fixed income without interest. The purpose of sukuk certificates is to provide users with a fixed income without interest. Sukuk is a liquid instrument and is traded on the secondary market. There are different types of sukuk according to the application methods. Those who receive Sukuk certificates become a shareholder of the asset in proportion to the certificates they have.
