I ran through a story of a younger fish who went with her mother to swim and find food. At a point, the younger fish saw piece of meat in the water and went for the catch. The mother shouted! Don't eat that because it is a trap! There is a man with a pole and a hook attached to it with the meet. If you bite the meat, the hook will chook your jaw and the man with the pole will catch you and kill you. The younger fish retorted; but I have seen no such thing. When they returned home, the younger fish went back to see things for her self. She ran straight to the piece of meat, swallowed it. Immediately she felt the hook in her jaw and remembered the story told her by the mother but it was already late as she felt her body being taken out of the water. She was killed and eaten by the man with the pole.
Moral of the story!
We may feel we can do better on our own, but let's remember that we can do nothing on our own. It is better to believe that the branch can not exist on it's own than to try to find out for ourselves because we may not have the opportunity to correct the doubt.
