I think the BTC debacles have cone to an end its not 100% set in stone but it sppears that segwit has been agreed by all parties and it is going ahead, thus avoiding a possible hard fork. This is ehy I would presume there was a big climb back from $1,800 btc

@elyaque thanks for sharing the witness voting info. I would also emphasize people should interact with the witnesses as much as possible.
One reason I avidly support @timcliff and was one of the first to come out and endorse him in the beginning is because of how he takes time to educate the Steemit community on upcoming forks, changes and code related matters as well as writing a regular report on the witnesses (what projects they are doing, funding and so on).

Lots of new accounts again. I saw there are a few people who have over 2000 bot accounts voting up loads of comments, but some good people are flagging them. Otherwise they can make hundreds each day. This is why new accounts need to be verified somehow. They have a financial impact on Steemit

It could be by verifying some other social account, e.g. FB or Twtr, but I know those also have issues with fake accounts. One way would be to charge for accounts. You can already bypass the verification by paying. That reduces the impact on the Steem account that funds new accounts. I'm sure others have ideas on this

Ja genau, obiges Beispiel sind die Witnesses die ich gewaehlt hatte, hab ich natuerlich alle erst mal unvoted, da schaust ja auch nicht mehr drauf.... Einfach nochmal auf den Voteknopf druecken dann waehlst die wieder ab. Hab dann gleich ein paar neue gewaehlt :)
