How do you feel each Monday morning you wake up?
After a dozen wake-up calls from my dearly beloved alarm clock, the bed that day, has alluring stories to tell. Alluring but forlorn cries, that's how much it missed me on the weekend.
On a busy Monday morning, though bright but with dark traces. You can imagine that look on my face; mean look with clenched teeth and i'm like grrrrrrrrrrrrrh! Monday again? To make matters worse, it's a cold morning. Piercing winds, not gentle, all wild, knows no mercy. It's hard to give up the comfort of a cozy bed over standing in front of some Asian kids with a variety of Wahala (misbehavior) not just written on their faces but also expressed in their every action.
Trust me, I love my Job. I am only referring to a feeling that everyone both students and workers can relate to. However, no matter how much we hate Mondays, It won't stop coming. so i accept it and make the best of my Monday and the rest of the working days while i anticipate the weekend. its only four days away.
It's a busy Monday morning. However excited weekend you've had, trickling traces of joy froze long before the cold thought of a busy Monday morning, give every day your best so that that it can give you its best. The measure of effort you put into your day is the same measure of output you get or even more if you're lucky.
Just like every other Monday morning, never appreciated since the dawn of slavery, you have the choice of facing it with a grimace and bearing that constipated look all day or damn the MOURN-DAY syndrome, wear a bright look and give every activity the best shot. Choose what it becomes - a MONDAY or a MOURN-DAY
The hallmark of a Monday morning.
