In the last IFA 2018 the kings were the next generation of televisions, 8K televisions, which reach resolutions of up to 7680 × 4320 pixels (approximately 32 million pixels). This is a definition four times greater than 4K, and 16 times greater than that of a Blu Ray FullHD. They are needed? Manufacturers strive to convince us that they are. They tell us that when you're facing an 8K TV, your current 4K TV is going to look 50 years old. We doubt that our eye is able to distinguish so much difference. Even so, there are already Samsung or LG models for sale between 5,000 and 15,000 euros. Of course, the offer of content 8K is practically non-existent (it is almost that of 4K yet), but 2019 may be the year that begins to be implemented in a generalized way.
