I like Steemit. I have been on it for about a month and a half now ? I don't rightly know, but that doesn't matter. What 'matters' is what I tend to notice among the latest signups. The freshly fresh minnows.

Follow to Follower Ratio

When I browse through 'new' I often check a posters account to see what else the person has posted. What I notice there a lot is that the people they follow far outweigh the people that follow them. Sometimes by a ratio of at least 20:1 .... do they not get it ? has no one told them, that the game is about getting followers, or more accurate, up-votes (inherently linked to followers though) there's is NO point at all in following 9999 people (trust me, this is actually an amount I came across) Even in archaic Social Platforms Followers is where it's at, not following.
Here though even that can amount to nothing if it's the wrong type of followers (following, yet not up-voting your posts)

FAQ - The innerworkings of CryptoBlogging

I think with the influx (even though slowed last weeks) a FAQ should be in order. One that is kept up to date with all sorts of information on how Steemit works. You know, about Steem, SBD, Steempower, Whales, Dolphins, Minnows, all that sort of information. It just feels as if there's this veil right now, that will only lift itself after perusing all the related posts.
It will also cut down (I've been guilty of this too) all the posts (re-posts) reveiling the secrets of Steemit.com. thew "Hey I invented the wheel". "Hey look at me ... I invented the wheel". You know what I mean right ? It will shift focus more to actual blogging and intelligent information and less trying to post what looks like jackpotPosts.

Maybe I'm just the one missing the point though, who knows :)

Just some random thoughts before it's time for Beer & The weekend (sounds like an awesome band. 10/10 would go see !)
