Yeah, even newbies; Giving advice, showing how to rise, how to succeed here. For fucks sake G, your ass is fresh up here, don’t read some nigga’s post and come paraphrase for us.(sorry I lost his leash for a min there, my alter ego)

Easy Money Alert!!!
I get it, from the onset we were told steemit is a place where you get paid just for making posts. We took the bait, it’s how we got here. Then, we found out it’s not that easy.
Next we are told the “2 things that guarantee success here”; first, make posts, they spice it up with the title ‘quality content’ (which no one I’ve met can define); second, make friends (interactions, just drop comments, every opportunity you get).
We take these as hard and fast rules, we look at posts that earn a lot, and try doing something in that direction (killing our ingenuity), we make a lot of insincere comments (sometimes we don’t even read through the post), ‘cos we were told interaction helps make more money.
What is ideal content??
Are we all to be posting about how the whales should consider us?? #minnowsmatter
Or reading, restructuring, then reposting the same idea 702 people already wrote on??
Ask NEd sCoTT
I don’t know for sure (someone should ask @ned), but I’m guessing steemit was made to be a diverse community, people sharing ideas, problems, breakthroughs, how to’s, news. Not just dumping multiples of manipulated content from one root idea ‘cos it sold well.
I think if we stop focusing primarily on the reward (which could be super-hard TBH) and start seeing steemit as a real community, and each of us as part of it having a quota to add to its growth, making it the best community,’ cos it's your community. In short, if we start personalizing it (it’s your business), I think then, we would have more fun as you would feel a sense of belonging and accomplishment, as well as getting the all-important monetary reward.
Ever given thought to why the community slogan says ‘come for the money, stay for the community’?
For once on this planet let’s have honest fun, and stop rat-racing everything
Steam for Steem
Finally, newbie-to-newbie, Don’t let’s get over ourselves just trying earn cash, let build relationships, let’s get married, let’s start businesses, let’s be buddies, let’s build this community. Leave the veterans, they might be hard to change, we are new, we are the change, we are #truesteemian
