You also don't hang on Steemit all the time. Which means you vote less.
Which gives your voting power a chance to recuperate.
Look at my example. I am off for a week and am not hanging on the net all the time.
My voting power climbed from around 30% to well above 70%.
It would be even higher if mobile data roaming cost wouldn't be flattened as it is now in EU.
I better stop typing and go to the beach.

It's so hard to keep voting power up after HF19, isn't it? I was shocked to see mine go below 70% even though I'm really careful about it... and it takes a long while to regenerate back up. How many days did it take to go from 30 to 74%?

Taking time off has the potential to really rejuvenate a person's spirit, outlook on life and almost every aspect of a person's life that I can think of.
It's somewhat similar to giving Your mind, body & spirit a mini vacation when we go to sleep each day...
