I started on Steemit in August of 2016.
Almost two years ago.
I've invested NOTHING except for my time.
(almost 36 thousand posts and comments)
I've powered down ocassionally .
With the proceeds I've purchased.
A car for the wife

A Trike

Many tools

I've paid the rent

And....
(drumroll)
Next month we close on a house.
(no more apartment living)

so...
Tell me again how Steemit is so unfair.

Well, it's only UNFAIR if you see it from a certain perspective...
Even that way, it's still more "fair" than actual real life... It's just that you don't see real life "rich people" in front of your face every morning to be reminded of how poor you are.

compared to 99.99% of all humanity that have ever lived I'm richer than their wildest dreams..
with just the twitch of a (trigger) finger I can rain death and destruction the likes of which Shiva would only imagine.
with the same twitch of a finger I can call forth imagines and music from my 'magic box' or food and COFFEE form other magic containers.
With barely more effort I can travel cross continent in a matter of hours...or between continents in a manner of days..
