Helpful tools to monitor your STEEMIT progress - repost for new STEEMIANS v4

in steemit •  6 years ago

Today I wanna talk about the tools, which I find very useful to monitor your STEEMIT progress. I use them everyday.

This is a repost, because since the last time I posted it, 200,000 new accounts were created... This is for the newbz...

For checking the price of STEEM and other cryptocurrencies I use https://coincap.io/ for realtime rates. If I want better charting options I use https://coinmarketcap.com/

If I want to calculate the worth of my upvotes https://www.steemnow.com/ is the tool of choice.

If I want to have a look at my dead followers or most loyal followers I go to http://www.steemspectacles.com/@ew-and-patterns (change it to your name if you want to check your account)

For checking the daily transactions and 7d average + alltime-records, https://blocktivity.info/ is the tool for that.

Also very important is the upvotebot tracker, where you can check the bids of the most popular upvotebots https://steembottracker.com/

But the most important tools are:

http://steem.supply/, https://steemworld.org/@ew-and-patterns , and https://steemd.com/@ew-and-patterns (change it to your name if you want to check your account)

I really don't know what I would do without them. These sites are ULTRA important for me.

Steem.supply is awesome for checking when your next payouts are due and current prices of SBD and STEEM, and steemd is important for checking your votingpower, reputation, vesting shares and many more. I just love this site ;-) It makes keeping up with all incoming and outgoing votes so easy.

If you did not know theese sites, this will change your steemit experience forever...

Sort Order:

Steemd is almost always open in my browser.

You can almost see every activity in your account on that site.
For example upvotes (your own upvotes and received upvotes as well), comments (your own and received cooments), your own resteems, author and curation rewards, your witness votes, transactions (including buy and sell orders) on the internal Currency Market, transfers from/to your wallet and other things, almost everything.
With SteemWorld (beta), you can check other Steemit related statistics, such as the overall number of your upvotes and the number of the received upvotes, self upvote percentage in the last 7 days, upcoming author rewards and many other things.

You can also find very detailed Steemit related statistics in many categories on Steem Reports.
Such as Account Voting, Vote Charts, Financial, Delegation, Developers, Visibility, Witnesses, Sincerity and Other Tools.
You can even check someone's (including your own) self upvote percentage for the last 31 days on this site.

I think there is possible to write a completele book (or even more) about these things. I think that creating/maintaining a Wiki page about Steemit and these services would be a good idea.

That Steem world is a life changer! I am over here using the calculator on my computer going back and forth doing the math manually to see what my posts are worth in SD and in Steem Power! hahaha

Thanks! REALLY helpful! :)

Great post, what are vesting shares, why are they important?

They are important for various aps and calculations. For the everyday user they are not very important.

If you have > 50million (50.00m) VESTS, you are considered to be an Orca on STEEMIT...

I appreciate this post very much! I'm very excited about the potential of Steem, but frankly it is hard to figure out. I don't really know what I'm doing here. Are there any guides you can point me to, kinda introductory to how all this is supposed to work?

There are many guides. Just google it. You will find Steemit pages explaining stuff or youtube videos.

Thank you! I'll do that.

loved that
