El sol, la estrella que nos da la vida, su luz y calor hace que nuestro mundo florezca y aparezcan nuevas formas de vida.
Pero al igual que la Tierra, éste también pasa por ciclos de mucha y poca actividad que hace que la estrella se mueva por dentro. Lo que lleva consigo el hecho de que se vayan generando perturbaciones,manchas e incluso sismos mil veces más potentes que los más grandes de la tierra, éstos movimientos de las placas solares que fueron registrados por la sonda Soho de la Nasa, la cual demuestra que en estos momentos, la actividad magnética en el Sol se ha reducido significativamente y ha alcanzado los niveles más bajos en toda su existencia.
Lo que nos indica es que el astro ya ha vivido cambios irreversibles en su funcionamiento interior, que podrían a su vez, cambiar su total funcionamiento en los próximos años. Efectivamente, el sol se dirige hacia un mínimo en su actividad, pero lo que resulta más aterrador, es que podría ser un mínimo más largo de lo habitual.
Comprobándose así que este ciclo solar afectará a la tierra. Pero...¿Cómo nos veremos afectados?  

Efectos del mínimo solar en la Tierra

El campo magnético de la tierra disminuye a medida que el sol baja su actividad,cuyos rayos solares y la radiación que emite es más leve,así la magnetosfera de la Tierra se hace más fina. Esto mismo sucede con la capa protectora de nuestro sistema solar,al bajar la actividad solar,esta capa que protege al sistema solar también disminuye,lo cual representa un problema debido a que los rayos galácticos en general provenientes del exterior penetran con más facilidad. Esto podría afectar a los satélites que órbitan la Tierra y en el peor de los casos pueden producir cáncer en los seres humanos y problemas cardíacos.

En los ciclos de la tierra atravesaríamos una pequeña edad de hielo,ya que si la temperatura del sol disminuye,la temperatura de la Tierra también va a bajar.
