I believe that at some point of steemit as a business, we'll have to adapt and survive, and advertisement is a viable business model as you mentioned before. My hope is just that this will embrace the innovation made possible by the blockchain technology, because for me it's the DNA of this platform. The best is still to come with different blockchain applications, so i expect to best to come from steemit as well...
