'Standardized payouts on a 7 day timer' ?steemCreated with Sketch.

in steemit •  8 years ago

So the last hardfork reduced payout periods to one single payout after 7 days.

Did it really ? Because I had a payout for a 30 day old post yesterday:

It also shows me a 'Potential Payout' for my posts older than 7 days:

In this case, the payout is 0.00$.

Is it possible, that the single payout period didn't quite go trough and that a second payout is still happening ?

Were two of the four killer features announced here not implemented at all ?

  • I can't edit old posts
  • I get a second payout window

Is this a bug ?

Did I miss an announcement ?

As I recall, the hardfork date was March 31. 30 day payouts from posts before that date are still coming in for the next few days. I expect that they'll stop after April 30.

That would be the explanation.
I didn't think of that.

That answers the question, I'll go look and see if this is the case.

I noticed an older payout too, I was paid in stem sd.

Mine was paid in SP, because I set the post to be 100% Power Up.

Before the fork, the second payout was always 50/50 regardless.
You could call it an improvement.

I was happy at the surprise second payout but like you I thought the 30 day ayment was cancelled with the hardfork.

i think can't edit old post is still true. I saw someone else posted about it after the HF but I didn't verify myself.

The feature was in a few days after the HF, but now it is gone again.
