I was listening to the world famous Nazi Glenn Beck yesterday as he interviewed another famous Nazi, Mattie Greenspan.
Greenspan made an off-the-cuff remark the previous day that Facebook shareholders should short their position with the caveat, “THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE! THIS IS PURE SPECULATION!!!”
And, behold, Facebook became Faceplant.
As you can see, I still have my FB account but I deleted the app from my phone two weeks ago. I learned that Greenspan did the exact same thing (deleted his FB app) and his intuition led him to short a bunch of FB stock on, I assume, on an options move.
To hear that even ONE other person deleted their FB app from their phone is miraculous.
Without the FB app, I’ve been happier than I’ve been in a long time.
Without the app, I can jump into FB whenever I want to and then ignore it for weeks.
I wonder how many others have done the same thing.
My issue with Facebook is that Leftists can post “articles” about how having an abortion will make one’s hair “thicker and fuller” while every scrap of any remotely-near-conservative post is scrutinized to the point of insanity.
I was tired of the “Information” tag that accompanied nearly every post that touted conservative values.
I remember thinking that Zuckerberg should just skip past the euphemisms and simply tack on a Swastika on any post that even REMOTELY resembled conservative thought.
I suspect that Facebook is going the way of MySpace but in a more horrific manner. The bloodbath of Facebook tanking is going to take a lot of money along with it. Old people eating dog food, crumbling of the infrastructure, dogs and cats living together, and all of that.
At least on Steemit, there is no hiding of the past.
Gotta love blockchain technology...
