Is HF19 Now Considered A Failure - Will Steemit Ever Stabilise?

When HF19 was rolled out it seemed that Steemit had really improved the reward and upvoting process to make it more fair for everyone. My articles jumped in value quite significantly and my voting power was strengthened. However, I think this may have all been in vain. Ever since the initial increase and every single story I have posted since HF19 was implemented have been in a steep decline.

I had hoped this was just an initial adjusting period but it seems I was mistaken. From the day of posting to the day of maturity I am losing around 20% of the value of my articles, this is really disappointing. It also makes me seriously think now whether I should hold off from posting any more stories until Steemit stablilises.

There is nothing more disincentivising than seeing your efforts rewarded inititally only to then see the value decrease significantly over the period of a week. Does anyone know if Steemit will be able to stabilise soon? Or maybe even get back to a position where our articles increase in value on maturity and not decrease?

The decline may be from the overall value of STEEM dropping. Bitcoin has dropped a solid 20% in the past 2 weeks.

The articles and rewards will start to increase when the steem coin will get higher. Right now the market is down but soon it will get up again. Just hold your rewards.

In your opinion is there no link then with Steem dropping in value and the implementation of HF-19?

By the way how do you hold your rewards? By simply not posting any articles?

I've noticed the fluctuations in value as a new user but steem is a currency and you have to expect fluctuations in the price. I'd say wait a few weeks.
