Never look down on $0.01 upvote

New members have heard too many fairy tales about the small percentage of members who were able to earn a great income from steemit. Many dreamt of having a super huge upvotes worth a thousand dollars of SBD.

There is a certain percentage of truth in it but how many can write such a post unless you have huge steem power where upvoters benefit? Majority of us are just small flies circling around trying to cook up something spicy or good enough to get the attention of some whales.

Getting back to reality about earning a honest passive income.
Never look down on $0.01 upvote even if it is just for a post.

Why do you say that fun2learn?

Imagine you are able to post at least 1000 posts per month.

Each post only gives you $0.01 upvote which probably can be slightly more.

1000 posts x $0.01 = $10/month

Author's reward = $10 x 75% = $7.5

Choosing (50/50)
$3.75 SBD and 0.58 SP (Estimated based on steem price of $6.50)

Looking at $3.75 SBD monthly for 1000 posts.

Within a year
3.75 SBD x 12 = 45 SBD (If 1 SBD price is at the rate of US$10, you would have earn US$450)

This is not something impossible but takes a lot of effort when you have not high steem power like majority.

What happen if you take the month $3.75 SBD and convert them to steem so that you can power up your steem power?

Gradually you would have built your steem power and with effort you can have a decent steem power in a few years without spending a single cent when you really cannot afford to invest.

In the bible, it is written that he who gathers little by little shall be made rich.

If you are too eager to get rich, you may lose your momentum and be full of bitness in the end when you don't get what you want from steemit.

Be practical and you can still dream of getting a good upvote. Even if you did not get any, looking at my calculation, don't you think that you can still have a future security by building your steemit account slowly?

I believe we can build it even faster if you gather a pool of active followers that help one another. Instead of just $0.01 per post, you can be getting $0.05 per post from 5 followers. This figure gets even more with strong supports.
