How does ReSeeming help?
I try to support my friends when I think they put up a good post by ReSteeming it, but I question how it helps. When I ReSteem and check the different categories home, new, hot, trending, promoted, and active I don't see it. Does it make an impact at all? If you would like to find out the answer, please ReSteem - or perhaps not.
Now that I look harder I do see ReSteems in the "home" catagory. My mistake.

It puts it in the same category as it was originally specified. It does help. Sometimes a lot and sometimes very little.

It took me quite a while to learn what "resteeming" was at first. In fact, I looked everywhere for an answer and couldn't find one. Finally somebody from the SteemIt chat was nice enough to explain that it should bump the post back up in the ratings.
