Does anyone know what's going on here?

Hi Steemit
Seen some weird spikes today, multiple times between about $1.50 Steem to around $2.00 then back to $1.60

    I wouldn't be surprised if it's some Steem whales loading of, buying.
    Wasn't their issues with people misusing the reward pool last year?
    Som people really have a large amount of steem.
