Anyone else hate this new thing with ads on top of screen? It’s so cheezy!

Seriously it’s so cheezy.
Am I alone here?
Everyone said join steemit it’s decentralized
We’ll sure doesn’t seem to be to me. I love the people here
But steemit the site has gone downhill in my opinion. Again I love the people I interact with here but we could just go somewhere else and I’d be fine with it. Now I understand why Dan left!

    The ads also make Steemit
    seem more like Facebook.
    Who is getting paid here and where is the transparency in regards to the ad revenue..?

            Yeah, Dan’s departure was disappointing at first wOrd but now it makes sense. All of the platforms on Steem are just an avenue to be creative and do what we do. Everything is only as good as the next one—see you there. Wherever ‘there’ is.

              When I first noticed ads I was shocked. I clicked on several ads to help with revenue. I haven't read anything about the ads yet, but the do seem quite counterintuitive to the original Steemit platform.
