Orienting The Youths And Creation Of Job Opportunities For A Better Society: A Case Study Of @ned, @dan And Aliko Dangote.

I have been thinking so much about what am about to share right now. I may not be able to fully express what is going on in my mind but at least I think that the little am about to put down here will be able to hold water. A few times back @ned and @dan sat down and created this wonderful platform for the benefit of you and I to blog and earn - their way of giving back to the society I guess. However, this platform has not only payed off financially but has opened several opportunities for many.

In our societies today, especially in Africa, there is a very high rate of unemployment. People are waiting on the government to create jobs but the honest truth is that governments have ran out of ideas themselves. As a result people are suffering, illiteracy and ignorance are on the increase. Many of these categories of people in our society are busy looking for jobs to make ends meet.

Despite the above highlighted problems, youths are looked upon to perform magic in caring for themselves, in some cases, their immediate families and to make the society better. Well, perhaps, I presume this is some peoples idea of youths being the leaders of tomorrow. The truth is that it's not all youths that can write like we do, not even everyone who you invite into steemit that will stay. That is why I keep saying that steemit is for the brave, intelligent, fast learners and fast fingers alone. Also everyone can not be at the same place at the same time and that is realities of life.

This is why I want to thank @ned and @dan for the creation of steemit and the job opportunity it has created for many youths who appreciates it here and willing to change the world with it. My question now boils down to this, if steemit can create such job opportunity for you and I, what do we give back in return? What job opportunity can you create for the lay-man out there?

We all need to answer some of these questions one day.

A saying goes thus: Little drops of water makes a mighty ocean. With little thoughts of love for the society they can materialize into big realities. What are your plans for the society? what do you want to give back to the society? How do you intend to improve your immediate environment and eventually the society at large? What job opportunities do you have in mind to create for those who can not be on steemit?

Some of these questions need answers and until we start answering them little by little and backing them up with concrete actions, the unemployment level in most African countries will drastically reduce to the barest minimum. For the simple mathematics, if at least 1000 African youths on steemit create job opportunities, consider how many people will be elevated out of unemployment.

The high time we start thinking about the answers to the aforementioned questions and working towards achieving them the better for our society and the world at large.

Bear it in mind that at the end of the day you will need to answer to what you have done.

Aliko Dangote the Chairman and CEO of Dangote groups is the richest man in Africa. Dangote has his companies in different parts of Africa, with his products according to Wikipedia covering the 70% of the Nigerian market. To me all the money Dangote has does not make him the richest, but his ability to create job opportunities to many beyond his own country. To me everyone can make money, but not everyone can create the means for others to make that money.

Therefore, every youth has to start thinking about what to do to give others the avenue to make money just like @ned, @dan, Dangote and other people who has given people the right to earn in different sphere.

Let us challenge ourselves towards giving back and creating different avenue for people to survive. The only obstacle to opening a business that will employ others is capital and that capital can be made here. I do not know about what you think but I believe there is nothing that is not achievable. Just as steemit is giving us, let us endeavor to give others.

As for me in a little while I will be kick starting my business and by that employ a few people who will work and earn too. Charge yourself to start something out there too it is our responsibility as youths, the future lies with us. As you already know that everyone can not be in the same place at the same time. Invite more people who belong here and help those that can not be here. If you and I do our quota, then we aim for a great society everywhere in the world.

Believe that all things are achievable... believe you can reach that goal. Remain the best you can be.

@gloglo Your post is very encouraging. I'm a student writer who just joined steemit and I hope to earn by my posts in order to promote my natural hair business which many people will benefit from if interested. Nice post anyway.

I wish you lots of fun and good luck in our wonderful community!

Thank you very much.

Thats great news... hope to see you at the top then.

She just reached the top of all comments on your encouraging article. 🐬

Definitely. Thank you very much.

Your article made me think of the state of Israel. It has very complicated relations with neighbouring states and isnt rich of natural resources. Brainpower and education is where they invested most and it payed out. Might work for Nigeria too?

Education without employment is just frustrating. People need job, means of livelihood and that is what this post is about. Thank you for dropping by.

All of us need positivity, and you gave that as a gift to me. Sometimes even the most optimistic fall into fear, and you definitely helped me today see something new. Thanks.

Thank you @Stellabelle. You inspire me alot. Thank you...haha.

I feel the same after reading this article and added a comment below.
I am sorry I overlooked it 3 days ago but it's hard to catch up sometimes and many brilliant articles vanish. Please make sure to send your links per FB or anywhere that I don't miss them anymore

Oh thank you so much @mammasitta. Am grateful to @stellabelle for giving me the oppoertunity to meet someone as awesome as you. I will do as you have said. Thank you @stellabelle.

Can't wait to meet you in person to chat away and have a good time. Last year was incredible.
Good luck with your visa! @gloglo

Now thats a good idea @gloglo
giving back to the community..😇
One of my first plans in life

Glad to know about your plans. Thank you very much. Our societies need youth that can do something. Well done.

truth is that governments have ran out of ideas themselves.
that is about the realest statement i have heard in years.

The truth is that i am not surprised to see some nigerians giving back to the community what they earn here. Someone like @ejemai created a steemit hub from his earnings here to enable youths with the opportunity he got.
and many others which have not been known.

The idea then is to build on what has already been built and make the community and the society a better place.

P.s

Keep thinking, for the mind is a treasure of creativity and opportunities. Well done dear

Yes... very true. Thank you . To create opportunities is our way of building too.

Definitely.

This is the simple truth we all have to apply towards making our world a better place. Until everyone starts working towards contributing the little he/she can, change would still be very far from us.

Thanks for sharing this great post!

@kayceesuave

Wow! What an eye opener and great writeup.

Thank you for imparting our youths and giving them a sense of purpose and vision

Thank you dear. We can only do more.

Great content. keep steeming

Thats really an awesome idea.. Africa will really be a better place if u give back to the societies what you get from it.

By creating job opportunities

You are such a brilliant writer and wise member of society. That's how I picture the new generation who can change anything for our future.
Governments do run out of ideas because they are stuck in their old belief systems.
"WE" are much wiser than those stuck up, dusted figures and youth, minds like you, will show the right way.
I truly wonder how much longer they think they can control us.?!
I did not only find steemit to share my personal emotional ups and downs. #IamHuman"
Steemit opened a whole different new world with the "DOERS &Makers of the future and the magical "cryptospace".

You said it all @mammasitta. I couldn't have agreed less. Governments are no longer in charge. I think we are now because we have what they can not take or control which is the cryptoworld. Thank you for the kind words as well.

It's still a difficult and very shaky ground but for me it makes sense

Great man you people are doing some extra ordinary stuff people in 21st century are busy lib their life only but you people are really doing great stuff keep it up.

Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate.

@ned & @dan has been successfully .
making this world passionate, producing a cool platform. Unite us together for one purpose.

Indeed @ned and @dan have really good in putting this in place. I really thank them, am immersely grateful to them for bringing us all together under the steemit roof.

Along with you starting a business to help others be employed, there are other things you may have overlooked at what you are doing. A business needs a place, a place needs to be taken care of, you need a place, your place needs to be taken care. As the business grows, you will likely want a newer place, so you will end up hiring people to fix your old place, sell your old place, then maybe hire more people to fix your new place up a little bit. So one man/woman starting a business, in effect if successful, will have improved the lives of many many individuals. It is something government does not think about, the upward effect of new businesses for the lives of those near the business.

You are doing great.

It is often said that change begins with us as individuals rather than collectively, or in other words, not others out there who various persons continually wait on to bring about such change, and this thus begs the question: What positive changes am I striving hard to bring about either by way of words, deed or action so as to create a better and far improved human society? Truth be told, many persons pay less heed to this and would rather wait on the government, higher ranked societal individuals or even politicians who promise heaven and earth for such change. Some modern day church goers would even pray to God from morning till night then fold their hands while sitting at home doing absolutely nothing while expecting manna to fall from above thus neglecting the fact that faith must be backed up by works, actions and genuine efforts. All these are wrong mentalities which humans should try to change, and the earlier we do then the better for us. Thanks for sharing.
