Streamlining Steemit suggestions

in steemit •  8 years ago  (edited)

There are lot of articles about steemit but the issue is that most of them are all disorganised and there is no way to identify all the suggestions in one place. Even I have written couple of articles about steemit and 2 articles about steemit suggestions. I find that the current process of steemit suggestions and steemit discussions are not streamlined. if there is a way that the steemit team can identify all these suggestions and get the feedback from the users of steemit directly, I think it will improve the workflow and steemit developers will be able to identify which are the most requested features and then they can spend their valuable time accordingly on those features.

Since team it is all about democratization of the process and self organising groups I don't think we'll need any special attention from the development team for this. To begin with by using the handy feature of tags we can streamline this process right away. Once we gather enough attention from the steemit team I think it will automatically get better and get more streamlined.

For this to happen I would suggest tag namely steam it-suggestions under which all the users can make the suggestions and steemit team can automatically use the trending option for this particular tag to see which are the most popular features. The project name of steemit platform is condenser and there is an issue queue in GitHub where any users can raise the issues as a part of my commitment I am planning to go through this tag regularly at least once a week and whatever I find it would be a value addition I am planning to create features requests for them on the GitHub. I would be writing up followup articles in which I would explain the process for creating the issues on steam and I hope this helps other users also and we will find a better way to communicate our requirements and features suggestions to the estimate development team.
