A new virus, similar to WannaCry is raging in Russia and Ukraine. Computers in these countries are blocked after the ransomware attacks. The Petya virus blocks computers and asks for 300 $ worth of Bitcoin to redeem them.

The WannaCry attacks wrecked in May, almost everywhere. Employees of companies or computer users could not access their PCs after the virus attacked nearly 250,000 computers in over 150 countries.
The Petya virus already has some victims with a sound name. These include Russian giant gas companies or postal services in Ukraine. Ukraine's Novaya Pochta has posted on the Facebook page that it is unable to provide postal services due to Petya virus attacks.
