Why we lie/tell tales to the children?

Children

those innocent creatures that some unfortunate ones carry 9 months in their womb. Are they really a blessing twentyfour hours a day?

Parenting in the last decades has wildly changed as numerous of things has been upgraded.
Parents aren't enough present as the technology has taken a huge step forward. This isn't totally a bad thing because sometimes you just need to get some relaxing hours in your day, however theres always some individuals who fail in that section too and then it's the techs fault.

Definition of a parent

Being a parent isn't something you just decide to do, even though that's what many assume until they realize there's no going back from this. Being responsible adult is not something to take for granted, like it would been 1980-90's when people knew a lot basic stuff & machinery skills.
All I'm saying when we had other worries like how we gonna survive the next winter, we didn't have time to tell tales to our children, we only knew how to take care of them. People in 2017 think other parent's are not doing well if they can't buy the latest brand clothes to their 5-year-old girl.
Do our children need guardians or a parent who buys them whatever they like?

Questions we need to ask from ourselves

Why (1) do we tell lies to smaller versions of us, is that because 99.99% of the people assume children are so fragile even at the age of 7-9 that we really have to conceive stories of santa claus and fairies.
This is the the most disturbing mystery in parenting. Why lieing to children is so easy and it's acceptable, you wouldn't lie to handicapped person that they are same as everyone else?

Why (2) We don't teach them real values such as making a good deed brings joy etc.?
I don't know, I just read the news that kids only 9-10 years old played with fire and burned down apartment building that was being under construct. Same just like couple days ago myself I yelled to some children who started a fire, that if you start a fire, you don't leave it unattended. When it became other civilians duty to teach your kids?

Why (3) People get children and don't participate in growing them obedient citizens?
I'm not sure if I even want to answer this one..

Why (4) Kids nowdays live in a different reality as I did 20 years ago?

Because you formed their reality and beliefs, you saw em grow up and taught them about world but which world was that.

When I was kid, I just touched myself a lot and played some videogames.
It's been over 20 years and nothing has changed.

People complain that children do not behave the way children in the past did. Think...who created these children? We did....but are we the ones raising them? Not likely....my daughter spends 10 hours of her waking hours at daycare . Where a teacher with a maximized bandwith of responsibilities is raising our child. Without the individual attention of parents and teachers children also turn to their peers to learn behaviors and as a whole children do not make the best decisions. It is our fault and I am guilty of it and feel terrible about it.

Exactly, in the daycare they don't have enough resources there as they have duties.
