Why does this Community criticize its new people.

in steemit •  8 years ago

I have done nothing wrong to this Community and have only been here a day, but most of the replies I have received if any have been negative in nature. I'm sorry, but treating new people like they are all Scam artists, is the quickest way to kill a Community. I have proven my identity and have posted interesting articles, but the only attention they are getting is from people who want to shoot down what you say and find the negative in everything. Here are the posts I have put up

https://steemit.com/steemit/@greatone/first-idea-for-steemit-i-made-a-mistake-but-cant-delete-my-post-does-this-site-need-one

The last post is my identity. I understand that a reply is a reply, but the first time you communicate with someone should not start negatively, this is a very common rule of thumb. It gives your new user a bad taste in their mouth and causes animosity.

Is it that you do not want more users because payments for the posts will inevitably drop when there is say a million users.

I am sorry but I heard noting but good things about Steemit and wanted to give it a shot, but so far I am feeling like it is a playground full of Bullies.

I upvoted You

Hi upvoted you and gave you some hints about the platform. Did I was negative?

In your identity post I didn't see such negative comments (don't know about the others).

The community is usually friendly, I did severe criticism posts about the platform and I discovered they were quite open and gave feedback.

Good!
