This is a quick how-to for changing a photo once you've made a post live on Steemit. It's a simple thing to do... once you know!
Click the "Submit a Story" link to start a new post, then upload the image from the "selecting them" link.
Select and Copy the image address.
Open the post you want to edit, scroll to the bottom, and click the gray "Edit" link.
Find the original image to replace, or the location where you want the new image inserted. Paste the image address into your post, matching the formatting of your original post.
Click the "Update Post" button and you're done. That's it, really! View the post again to see your edits and if needed, repeat the above steps until you get the result you want.
The above steps are for those who use the built-in image upload and hosting capabilities of Steemit. If you use another image hosting site the basic concept is the same; copy new image address, paste new address, done.

No, you cannot edit a post after getting payout, which is currently 7 days after posting.
