I have been on Steemit for a around 3 months and I am just starting to get the hang of it.
I have blogged since 2010 on Ezine articles, Hubpages and a few other platforms - usually about how to grow spiritually, recover from addictions, learn to love yourself and other juicy topics like that.
Steemit is a whole new kettle of fish, and not really understanding it I went to Youtube to find out how to use it and how to get your information out there for others to read.
Last year I broke my foot and found that I loved watching gardening and farming videos and now I want to set up a project to plant a food forest and help people with mental health issues.
My friend @michellecarter recommended it to me, and I did not understand it at all but posted a few times.
Whilst my foot was mending I found @projectdiaries on Youtube and he has done a fab video on how to get started on Steemit, which I am going to share with you here-
Then you will want to introduce yourself - I have yet to do this! This video explains how to do that-
And here is another useful one explaining Steem, Steem Power and Steem Dollars
Basically if you like to tell stories or have something valuable to share, Steemit is the place for you.
You can use it for free or invest in some Steem and watch it grow over time.
What I am enjoying the most is the wonderful people on here, the great content and being able to talk about that which I am passionate about. Check me out - I am @growthtools and I will get round to introducing myself sometime!
