It is an Indian dish mostly prepared during fasts. Extremely simple and yet so flavorful. Love for this khichdi is priceless. Who else loves it?? ♥️

✔️Rinse 1 cup sabudana (sago pearls) under water until it turns clear to get rid of all the starch
✔️Transfer the rinsed sabudana to a large bowl and add 1 cup water to it. Soak it overnight (gives best results)
✔️The sabudana will soak all the water and is ready if it smashes easily. Set it aside
✔️Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp cumin and 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and let them sizzle for few seconds
✔️ Add 2 tbsp raw peanuts and stir for 2-3 minutes. Then add 2-3 green chilli, 7-8 curry leaves and cook for 1 more minute
✔️Then add 1 medium sized diced boiled potato and mix. Add the sabudana to the pan along with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper
✔️Mix well until well combined. Cook for few minutes until most of the sabudana become translucent, stirring once or twice
✔️Remove pan from heat. Add lemon juice and cilantro and toss to combine
Do not cook it for a long time else it will stick. Serve sabudana khichdi hot 😋
