My Office Our Clients And My Career (Episode 31)

I tort i was dead until i realized it was my arm he shot…….they started
arguing among demsef “y u shoot am now? U no suppose put the trigger
yet, remember the skippo instruction”………I just sample am, make the guy
no say no be play play, moreover the guy go still die tonight…..Na
tonight no be tomorrow…Bastard.
I started urinating on my body when i heard today will be my final day
on earth, so many thought on my mind, i started remembering all what
have done and started seeking for forgiveness from God for all my sins
and i hope he will hear my voice.
It was around 5pm when skippo arrived and all of them started hailing
him…i was soaked in my own blood already..skippo moved closer to me and
raised up my head, looked into my eye…………………
Me:”slowly”…..Finishing…….Finishing, baba ooooo (finishing is the
nickname of skippo way back in our university days)
Skippo:Snakie……………….padi mi……Na u fccck up, Ahhhh…u fumbled,which kind
nonsense u go do now…..ahhh..which kind nonsense b dis
Guy: Baba u no am ni……
Skippo: this guy na my guy now..tipe tipe…………………….wetyn we go do now?
And i no dey go back for my word, but who shoot am first
Guy:the guy just dey make noise na him we sample am jare
Skippo: If client come, we go know how we go settle am cos snakie no fit
die oooooo, i prefer to die than make snakie die
Guy: baba to yen to yen ni (e reach like that)
Skippo:e pass that one ooooo…..Abeg make una clean am up make we dey go
house, abeg call shade make she carry all her accessories come make she
come treat snakie for house….
That was how they untied me, carried me and i was relieved, at least am
not going to die for now…I said to myself “TY na ediiot, so, he actually
wanted to kill me cos of BJ”.
**********Throw back about Finishing**********************************
I met finishing in my two hundred level in the university, he was a
friend to my course mate though he was in another faculty….he belong to
a confra and he always disturb me to com and join them but i always
decline. I was a brilliant student that everybody respected in school.
To bail myself out, Finishing will always come and pick me up to write
exam for him……from two hundred level till four hundred level, i was the
one that did 90% of finishing exams and most of their hit men and number
one, it got to a stage that i got tired but i don’t have options..the
only thing they gave me way back then was protection and freedom.
Like two or three times, finishing would have been killed way back in
school but i was always at the wrong place to save him. There was even a
day he was pursued to my house and i hid him somewhere, i was carried
away, beaten mercilessly and almost killed by one of their rival
confraternity. I was glad to graduate from the university without being
hurt or killed.

I was taken to their house and the nurse removed the bullet in my arm
and they started treating me….After the third day when i was practically
ok, finishing started asking me questions about lovelyn and Mrs Juliet,
it was then it dawn on me that it was Mrs Juliet that send them….i
explained everytyn to him, how it all happened and played him the
recording on my fone about how Lovelyn forced me to sleep with her
before her boyfriend caught us……..

too……
Me:did that one send you too?
Finishing:I met him on Monday afternoon, he gave me the assignment, more
reason why I couldn’t come with my guy to pick u up and i was surprised
when he gave me your picture….o ti bale je gan oooo (u don spoil ground oo)
Me:It wasn’t my fault really
Finishing: You have saved my life before and i will never forget
you…madam is coming on Friday and i guess we should be able to settle
her own before moving to TY.

Friday was already here and Mrs Juliet came, she was putting on very
nice Ankara native gown looking beautiful as usual…………..i was inside
when she entered the room
Mrs Juliet: Where is that ediot skippo, lemme talk to him before you
finish him up
Skippo: madam, pls i take God beg you….all what happened no be snakie
fault and the fact b dat snakie na my blood..pls and pls, abeg make u
help me forgive am…things like that no go happen again
Mrs juiet:I no understand wetyn u dey talk…..i warn that ediot before
this tyn happen but na wetyn hin sabi chop wan kill am now……
Finishing: Madam, pls…u no we have come a long way, done may things
together and have never asked for this kind of request from you
before…..pls and pls, forgive am and leave him for me….pls
Mrs Juliet: oooooooooohhhhhh…which kind tyn b dis now finishing…………..
Finishing: where this ase guy dey sef……snakie, come out here jhoor…………..
“i came out, laid flat on the floor holding madams leg”…..crying
Mrs Juliet: I warned u….i tell u say make u no go my girl side but u no
listen….i tell u say na the teeth wey dog dey use follow hin pikin play
hin dey use bite am………..
Me: Pls am sorry ma…..it wasn’t really my fault, it was lovelyn that
caused everytyn
Mrs Juliet:even if she came to you, cant u ignore her…must u enter every
hole
Me:Pls am sorry ma…pls listen to this ma
“I brought out my fone and played our conversation for her” she was dump
founded…………….
Me: That faithful day, i was coming back from somewhere when i ran into
her in my compound, i was surprised and asked her where she was coming
from and she told me she came to see micheal and i wished her well…..i
went to my room, then later on to the bathroom for my bath..i came out
of the bathroom and saw lovelyn in my room unclad, she grabbed me and
threaten to shout to the neighbour that i wanted To Molest her if i
didn’t do her wish…she forced herself on me and it wasn’t long we
started that micheal came in…..all that happened wasn’t intentional, pls
forgive me ma…………………….
