Because we are not Moses, getting three thousands of followers will take us some time to accomplish. Some people here managed to gather two time more.
Having said that, there are ways to increase the number of followers rapidly and become more popular on STEEMIT.
- be active and engaging on STEEMIT (upvote, comment, resteem, be nice, keep your word). Steemit is a social networking platform and you have to be engaging to become popular;
- post as much as you can (<=4) so that people get used to your name and see you're active;
- posting quality, carefully selected and decent content, and even if you do not get the desired result from the beginning, at least you will create a good image about yourself.

Doesn't happen without some hard work and dedication. Congrats what a major accomplishment considering Steemit has only 200k accounts. Things will be blowing up once we reach the first million. It will happen for all of us and our own pace. Don't get frustrated because it didn't happen as fast as the next person. Encouragement, positive attitude and good hard honest work can get you where you want to be. This platform can help you achieve something that Facebook or Instagram don't give you.
