This is a really cute question. Im a minnow here and I kind of feel sorry for myself for being the only one to upvote my own posts. Glad to here that there arent any issues with aupporting yourself.

Really the only con would be dwindling your voting power by upvoting the 1000 posts put up a day...which is not a problem with you. You seem to be really quality driven in your work here, purely personal preference.

My opinion: make yourself knowned by upvoting others, by commenting other's posts and by posting interesting content. I think upvoting our own posts can be strange...if you have good content you will not need to do it...
but that's just my opinion... :)
